The Arengario di Monza is situated right in the heart of Monza, directly at the lively, historic market square and not far from the cathedral. The building dates from the late 13th century and was formerly the city’s town hall. The entire building stands on massive stone columns with the market stalls under the high arcades. The former council chamber, which is situated on the first floor, is today used as a gallery to exhibit paintings.
